You are cordially invited to the Second-Annual DOT USA Delta Technology Summit

Location    Greenville Higher Education Center, Greenville, MS

DOT USA, with its partner, The Center for Education Innovation, aims to continue its mission of empowering educators in the use of 21st Century Technology during our Second Annual Delta Technology Summit, through:

• breakout sessions led by TeachUp! Interns and technology innovators
   
• keynote speakers dedicated to the idea of connecting classrooms and students to a technology-driven world
   
• project-based lessons, interactive tools, and virtual communication

The summit will offer a three-pronged approach to achieving these ideas for teachers, administrators, and technology personnel. Participants will have a first-hand look at innovative and breakthrough tools and resources capable of engaging students as well as receive ideas and coaching for implementing these tools effectively into their classrooms. 

Janet Longmore, CEO and founder of Digital Opportunity Trust; Dr. Kate Kemker, Education Development Executive for Apple, Inc.; and Tom Davidson, CEO of EverFi; will be featured keynote speakers discussing the importance of preparing ourselves and the future generations for a world that has become fast-paced and technology driven.  Rhea Williams-Bishop, Executive Director of the Center for Education Innovation, the primary sponsor of the DOT USA Delta Technology Summit, will also speak to the importance of embracing and integrating technology-infused projects and lessons in MS Delta Schools to accelerate learning and continue moving forward to success and increased knowledge for Delta communities. Delta State University will also offer .6 CEU's for participants attending the DOT USA Mississippi Delta Technology Summit. There will be a $15 fee for participants interested in obtaining CEU's, which must be paid on September 23 by cash, money order, or check made payable to Delta State University.
