OCEAN SPRINGS -- At a special luncheon Wednesday at Phoenicia restaurant, DOT USA's TeachUp! program honored people and affiliates who have shown a strong commitment to the program.

The development director of DOT USA, said the program has been in operation for six years and has served almost every school district in the state's lower six counties.

He said his program recruits and trains technology interns, then places them in public schools where they serve as technology coaches for teachers.
